PREMIER GRADE

The highest grade of the Saturday Morning Junior Competition, known as Premier Grade, is run in a tournament style environment at the Ken Rosewall Tennis Centre, Roberts Road, Peakhurst. ☎️ 0411 841 902

 

ISLTA - Junior Branch would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sandor Platthy of Evolution Tennis. 🎾 His generous support 🙌 has allowed Premier Grade matches to be held at these courts for many years – and we truly appreciate it! We couldn’t do it without Sandor.

The format for Premier Grade for the Winter 2026 Competition is currently being reviewed.

Previous format: six teams, with five players in each team and four different players rotating play each week. The total duration per player per round is between two and three hours. Each player plays one singles match (two sets and a super tiebreak) and one doubles match (one set).

Expressions of Interest close on 16 March 2026.

Players of all ages (up to and including 19 years of age) that are of a suitable standard as well as maturity will be considered.​

Note: players will be required to attend trials.​

Parents Helping Out
We are desperately seeking parents to volunteer to join the Premier Grade Co-ordinator team to help run the Saturday morning competition. We also need parents to be present at the competition to ensure our rules are being upheld and that good sportsmanship is being displayed.
